American Hustle y Gravity son las películas con más nominaciones en la 86º versión de los Premios Oscar, ambas con 10 nominaciones, y nadie puede negar que se las merecen. Otro punto que llama la atención es la nominación de Leonardo DiCaprio a Mejor Actor por su trabajo en The Wolf of Wall Street, y ojalá este sea el año en que finalmente obtenga el premio luego de tantas nominaciones pasadas de donde salió con las manos vacías.
Los Premios Oscar (o Premios de la Academia) se transmitirán el Domingo 2 de Marzo, desde el Teatro Kodak en Hollywood. La anfitriona este año será Ellen DeGeneres.
Lo que no me ha gustado es que no nominaran a Tom Hanks por su emotiva actuación en Capitán Philips, y además dejaron a Pacific Rim fuera de los nominados a mejores efectos especiales.

Predicciones
Le apuesto a DiCaprio, ojalá no pierda contra Bale y Ejiofor. Recordmeos que ganó el Globo de Oro (en Comedia o Musical) pero Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club) lo ganó en Drama.
En cuanto a directores, ya Alfonso Cuarón ganó el Globo de Oro, así que espero que también se lleve la estatuilla.
Para Mejor Actriz, será una batalla entre Meryl Streep y Sandra Bullock (ojalá gane ella).
Para Mejor Actor Secundario, la lista es impecable, todos excelentes, sublimes, por mi que les den estatuillas a los cinco, no puedo tener favoritos entre Barkhad Abdi (el somalí), Jonah Hill, Bradley Cooper, Jared Leto, y mucho menos Michael Fassbender. Simplemente no se puede elegir a uno.
Her es una película que no me ha gustado personalmente, así que me sorprende verla nominada. Por otro lado, un gran WTF que no nominen a The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, posiblemente la mejor película de Ben Stiller, con una poderosa historia sobre la VIDA y el YOLO, y una escenografía que te deja sin aliento.
Gravity estará muy fuerte en Edición y Mezcla de Sonido.
Hay que brindar con una cerveza que Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa, tenga la nominación a mejor maquillaje y ojalá gane (A Lone Ranger lo veo débil).
Si bien muchos dirán que Gravity, para mi que el premio a efectos visuales será para The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
Frozen tendría que ganar como mejor película animada, fue una muy grata sorpresa ver este proyecto que para mi no prometía mucho por el marketing y los trailers, pero es una excelente película.
